An incredibly well researched and organized explanation for who we are and why we 'do what we do' as Sapiens
Antifragile: Things That Gain from Disorder / Nassim Nicholas Taleb
An exploration of things that become stronger vs. weaker when compromised or attacked. In my opinion Taleb's delivery can be irritating but the principles make it through the noise and are worth consideration.
No Rules Rules; Netflix and the Culture of Reinvention / Reed Hastings & Erin Meyer
One of the best high performance culture books out there. The Netflix sales pitch doesn't come on too strong and it's hard to argue with the results.
Janesville: An American Story / Amy Goldstein
This novel is based on the struggle much of America has been enduring in the post 2008 era. If you want perspective on some of this nations most prolific and divisive issues read this book.
Steve Jobs / Walter Isaacson
Arguably one of the most influential creators in modern history. The impact of Apple during Jobs era is difficult to understate, Isaacson’s telling of it is captivating.
